In order to achieve this, we collect and
store important information from our
custom
ers, as well as information from
Tenkyo Club members when they regis
ter or apply for
campaigns, etc., and use
this information for the benefit of our
customers.
We will respond more quickly than ever
before to any opinions, requests or com
plaints
we receive from our customers.
We are also aware that there is a great
deal of personal information about our
custom
ers that we do not want leaked or
made known to anyone else.
Therefore, we are strongly aware that we
must monitor and protect the handling
of
personal information to ensure that it
does not deviate from its original pur
pose,
through training of our employees
on the handling of this very important
information
and the establishment of an
information storage system.
In order to ensure that the Personal Data
Protection Law comes into full force on 1
April 2005, we have established the fol
lowing ‘Basic Policy for the Protection of
Person
al Data’ and all Tenkyo Corpora
tion officers, employees and subcontrac
tors are united
in their efforts to imple
ment this basic policy.

1.Information protection promotion organi
sation
We have formed a promotion team and an
audit organisation to promote personal
data protection.

    Education and training All directors,
    employees and subcontractor person-
    nel will receive the necessary educa
    tion, training, guidance and supervi
    sion
    with regard to the basic rules and
    bylaws for the protection of personal
    data
    and related laws and regulations
    established in accordance with this
    basic
    policy.

If the processing of personal data is out
sourced, it will be done under our
strict
control.

The use and provision of personal data is
subject to the con
sent of the person con
cerned.
4.Methods of proper management of
personal data.
Personal information collected is kept ac
curate and up-to-date and measures are
taken to prevent unauthorised access to,
loss, destruction, alteration or leakage of
personal information.

dustry guidelines, revision of internal

tors of the Basic Rules for the Pro
tection of
Personal Data, etc. and business violations
in accordance with our
internal regulations
and outsourcing agreements, and may
impose penalties
and seek damages de
pending on the extent of the violation.
8.Responding to enquiries from informants.
We will endeavour to respond promptly to
any enquiries from you about the han
dling
of your personal data, to the extent that
this is reasonable in light of socially
ac
cepted norms, by appointing a dedicated
person to handle such enquiries.
